Founder Janelle Argall (Proulx), a Barrister and Solicitor, was born and raised on the Island and returned home in January 2016 to open the practice after working as an associate lawyer in Sudbury. Since opening the Mindemoya office, the founder has continued to provide direct, personalized legal service to residents and cottage owners, with clients working with the founder throughout a file.
Argall's path to law started with a Criminal Justice (Criminology) degree from Nipissing University, followed by law school at the University of Ottawa. Admission to the Ontario bar came in spring 2015, after articling. The practice today handles residential and cottage or waterfront purchases and sales, farmland and vacant land transactions, non-resident sale files, mortgage registrations and discharges (including vendor take-back mortgages), and the preparation and review of private agreements of purchase and sale.
