Family Law Group is a family law practice based in the Hyde Park area of northwest London, Ontario, at 1579 Hyde Park Road. Founder Brenda D. Barr opened the practice in 1993, the year of Barr's call to the Ontario bar, after earning a law degree from Western University in 1991. Before law school, Barr worked as a social worker for Child and Family Services of Waterloo Region and for the Children's Aid Society of London and Middlesex, building on earlier degrees in psychology and social work from Wilfrid Laurier University.

The firm's practice covers separation and divorce, parenting time and decision making, child and spousal support, property division, separation agreements, and common law separation, drawing on negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation as a case requires. Its lawyers include Mic Liu, a Professional Engineer who holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa along with a PhD in technological accountability and the public interest, and Rebecca Kaeser Reiss, who is fluently bilingual in English and French after completing McGill University's transsystemic civil and common law program.
