About Refcio & Associates

Refcio & Associates is a full-service law firm based in London, Ontario. Founder Rod Refcio was called to the Ontario Bar in 2003 and set up an independent law practice in 2010, the practice that grew into today's Refcio & Associates. The team now handles real estate, corporate and business law, employment law, family law, estate planning and estate litigation, franchise law, construction liens, and bankruptcy, insolvency and debt collection matters, working with individuals, small and medium sized businesses, and professionals such as doctors, dentists and veterinarians.

The main office sits on York Street in downtown London, and the firm keeps a satellite office in Burlington that's open to clients by appointment only. Real estate files are billed at a flat rate rather than by the hour, so buyers and sellers know the legal cost before a deal closes. Franchise law has been a long-standing focus at the firm, going back to Refcio's law school years studying Ontario's newly passed Arthur Wishart Act, and the bankruptcy and insolvency practice builds on Refcio's earlier work in account debt recovery for a financial institution before moving into private law.
