Michael O'Shaughnessy has practised criminal law from an office in Brockville, Ontario since being called to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Ontario in 1977. The degree path included a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University in 1972 and a Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University in 1975, followed by articling in Toronto under Michael Wadsworth before returning to practise in Eastern Ontario. Over the practice's history, the firm has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal, handling matters that range from impaired driving and assault to drug, firearms, and homicide charges under the Criminal Code and related federal and provincial statutes.
