Howard Kelford LLP is a full service law firm based in Smiths Falls, Ontario, with additional offices in Carleton Place and Arnprior. It has served the Ottawa Valley for more than 45 years, working with individual, corporate and municipal clients throughout Smiths Falls, Carleton Place, Arnprior, Perth, Renfrew, Westport, Merrickville, Kemptville and Ottawa. The practice covers real estate, wills and estates, corporate and commercial law, litigation and family law, from residential and commercial closings to business acquisitions, employment disputes and separation agreements.

Both names on the door trace back to Smiths Falls. Andrew Howard grew up in the town, studied industrial relations at McGill University, returned home in 2012, was called to the bar in 2013 and made partner in 2018. Shane Kelford, also raised in Smiths Falls, holds degrees from the University of Toronto, Osgoode Hall Law School and the University of Sydney, was called to the bar in 1986 and practiced corporate finance law at Blake, Cassels & Graydon in Toronto before returning to build a general practice in the Valley. Today the firm has eight lawyers across its three offices.
