Ferguson Law Professional Corporation is a small firm on Bridge Street in Carleton Place, Ontario. Alex M. Ferguson founded the firm in September 2008, a year after being called to the bar in 2007, and articled at Barnes Sammon LLP before starting the practice. Ferguson holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Laws, both from Queen's University in Kingston, and has lived in Carleton Place since childhood.

The firm combines barrister and solicitor work. On the litigation side it handles civil litigation, criminal defence, family and child protection matters, and estate litigation; on the solicitor side it handles real estate transactions, wills and estate planning, corporate and municipal law, and notarial services. Its lawyer appears regularly before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Divisional Court, travelling to courthouses in Ottawa, Perth, Brockville, Smiths Falls, Pembroke, Renfrew, Kemptville, L'Orignal and Cornwall. Ontario licensed paralegal Kazim S. Avci, who joined the firm in June 2021 after volunteering with legal clinics in Toronto and Ottawa, handles provincial offences, small claims, landlord and tenant matters, immigration applications and legal translation.
