The Law Office of Rory G Fowler is a Kingston, Ontario solo practice focused on military law. Its founder, Rory G. Fowler, is a retired Lieutenant-Colonel who spent nearly 28 years in the Canadian Forces, first as an infantry officer with Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry and later as a legal officer with the Office of the Judge Advocate General, including a posting as Deputy Judge Advocate for CFB Kingston. Fowler holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen's University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario, and a Master of Laws with Merit from University College London. After practising with the Kingston firm Cunningham, Swan, Carty, Little & Bonham LLP, Fowler opened this independent practice in January 2019.

The firm advises Canadian Forces members and veterans on matters under the Code of Service Discipline and military administrative law, including courts martial, summary trials, grievances, Boards of Inquiry, and compensation, pension and benefits claims. It also takes on criminal law, regulatory law and federal human rights matters. Fowler has been quoted on military justice issues by outlets including the Globe and Mail, CBC News, CTV News, the National Post and the Kingston Whig Standard, and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association's National Military Law Section, the Frontenac Law Association, The Advocates' Society and the Kingston Criminal Defence Lawyers' Association.
