About Haider Law

Haider Law is a sole practice in Kingston, Ontario, run by S. Ali Haider. Haider migrated to Canada in 2016 and, after completing the law accreditation exams, was called to the Bar in 2020. Before that call, the practice already spanned more than 22 years in corporate, commercial, family, and real estate law, including advising international client agencies, before settling permanently in Kingston.

The firm's work covers four main areas: real estate transactions, wills and estate planning, business and corporate law, and family law, along with notary public services. Real estate clients get clarity on legal fees and disbursements before closing, and wills and estate work includes drafting powers of attorney as well as probate and estate administration. Notary services extend to certifying documents meant for use in other jurisdictions, which fits a client base the firm describes as international. On the estate planning side, Haider Law has also published guidance on drafting wills that follow Shariah principles alongside Ontario succession law.
