Jeffrey Van de Kleut, Barrister & Solicitor is a sole practice in Belleville, Ontario, handling family law and criminal law. Van de Kleut completed a BA with Honours in French translation at Queen's University in 1988, then a Bachelor of Laws at Queen's in 1992, and was called to the bar in Ontario in 1994. The practice began in Ottawa and Toronto before settling in Belleville, where it now serves the city and nearby communities including Napanee, Kingston, Cobourg, Picton, and Bancroft.

On the family law side, Van de Kleut is trained in collaborative family law, a private process in which both parties agree in writing to resolve matters without going to court, and is one of only a few lawyers in Belleville with that training. The practice also handles cohabitation agreements, separation agreements, custody and support disputes, and Children's Aid Society matters, aiming for a negotiated settlement but ready to go to trial when a settlement isn't possible. On the criminal side, Van de Kleut defends charges ranging from assault and drug offences to fraud and traffic offences. The firm accepts Legal Aid and offers services in French as well as English.
