About Startek Law

Startek Law is a family run, full service firm with offices in Stoney Creek and Grimsby, Ontario. Richard P. Startek began practicing law in 1973 after graduating from the University of Western Ontario School of Law, and became the founding partner of the firm in 1981. The firm was earlier known as Startek Peglar & Calcagni before it took the Startek Law name. Today it handles civil and commercial litigation, personal injury, family law, real estate, wills and estates, corporate and business law, small claims matters, and notarial services for clients across Hamilton, Niagara, Halton, Haldimand, and the rest of southern Ontario.

Richard G. Startek joined the firm in 2004 and practices alongside Richard P. Startek in real estate, estates, corporate law, civil litigation, and family law, with standing to appear at every level of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal. Richard P. Startek has appeared in all levels of court in the province over more than 40 years of trial and advocacy work and belongs to the Hamilton Law Association and the Hamilton Lawyers Club. The firm's notarial services aren't limited to lawyers; paralegals and law clerks also handle walk in appointments for basic documents.
