Beganyi Professional Corporation is a small Ontario law firm that works out of an office suite on Equestrian Court in Oakville. Ladislav Beganyi founded the firm in June 2008 and remains its only lawyer, with a law clerk supporting the corporate, tax, and M&A practice. Rather than serving a single town, the firm markets itself to entrepreneurs, healthcare practice owners, and private equity funds across the Greater Toronto Area and the rest of Ontario, and states it has closed more than 100 M&A transactions worth over $150 million in total deal value.

Beganyi holds an LL.B. in business and tax law from Western Law, a Master of Tax Law from the University of Waterloo, and a B.B.A. in finance and accounting from the Schulich School of Business, and worked briefly as a Rulings Officer at the Canada Revenue Agency in early 2009. That background shapes how the firm operates: it handles both the legal and tax sides of a transaction in house rather than routing tax questions elsewhere. Between 2012 and 2021, Beganyi also built and grew a legal practice management product called Click To File that integrated with the Clio platform, and the firm is currently handling the legal work for a mixed use redevelopment of a five acre industrial site in Toronto.
