Faber & Oostdyk is a small law firm on Waterdown Road in Burlington, Ontario. Its roots go back to 1982, when Herman Faber began practicing law in the Hamilton and Burlington area in what became van der Woerd & Faber. Sean Oostdyk joined that practice in 2015 and founded Faber & Oostdyk in early 2016, carrying the name forward: Faber was Oostdyk's mentor and predecessor there, and had practiced from 1982 until 2016.

The firm concentrates on real estate law, business and corporate law, wills and estate planning, family trusts, and personal injury. Its real estate work covers residential, commercial, refinance, and estate related transactions, with virtual closings and flat fee pricing, plus a discount on will planning for clients who also use its real estate services. On the business side, it guides clients through incorporations and exit strategies, coordinating with clients' accountants on reorganizations, sales, and purchases. Faber & Oostdyk keeps a deliberately small caseload so each client gets direct attention, serving Burlington, Milton, Hamilton, and the wider Golden Horseshoe from that single office.

Associate lawyer Andrew Tamminga is a Burlington native who earned a philosophy degree from McMaster University and a J.D. through the joint program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, then articled at Faber & Oostdyk. Tamminga's practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters, estate planning, business purchases, and contract drafting.
