Babar Law Firm Professional Corporation is a virtual law firm founded by Foraiyah A. Babar in August 2020, in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. Babar holds two law degrees, a Canadian Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor and an American Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and was called to the bar in Ontario in June 2020 after being admitted in Michigan the month before. Rather than open a traditional storefront office, the firm built its practice around remote work from the start, meeting clients by phone and video and keeping a Burlington address for consultations.

The team handles real estate transactions, family law, wills and estates including Islamic wills prepared according to Shariah law, corporate incorporations as a NUANS member, civil litigation, personal injury claims, small claims matters, and notary and commissioning services. Paralegal and law clerk Emily Klugman works on wills, estates, and small claims files, and real estate clerk Silvia Peragine has more than 15 years of experience in the field. The firm describes itself as a female-led team that represents both men and women in family law disputes, including fathers, and it offers free 30-minute initial consultations along with flat rates for some services, such as wills and document commissioning.
