The neighbourhood
The Cork Street West office sits directly across from the Guelph Civic Museum and the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate. The basilica's twin towers, modelled on the medieval cathedrals of France, rise over the city centre. Irish-born architect Joseph Connolly designed the church, which went up in stages starting in 1876, and it was named a National Historic Site in 1990 for its High Victorian Gothic Revival design.
