Valerie Pringle Family Law is a sole family law practice in Whitby, Ontario, serving Durham Region. Valerie Pringle has lived and practiced family law in the region for more than 25 years. The practice covers the full range of family law work, from parenting disputes to complex financial issues involving support, property division, pensions, and business interests. Matters include divorce and separation, custody and access, child and spousal support, and cohabitation and marriage contracts. Alongside courtroom representation, Valerie Pringle also acts as a mediator or mediator/arbitrator for couples who'd rather resolve their issues outside of litigation.

Valerie Pringle earned a Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University in 1985 and a law degree from Queen's in 1988, then was called to the Bar in 1990. Articling and early practice took place at a large multi-national firm in Toronto before Valerie Pringle chose to build a career in Durham Region instead. A partnership with a law school classmate began in 1997 and continued until that partner's appointment to the bench in 2010, after which the practice became a sole practice. Valerie Pringle was appointed a Dispute Resolution Officer with the Superior Court of Justice in 2012, handling case conferences on motions to vary final orders, and has served for many years as an agent for the Office of the Children's Lawyer, representing children in cases involving Children's Aid Society matters or contested custody and access.
