About Amodeo Law

Amodeo Law is a sole criminal defence practice in Whitby, Ontario, run by Christian Amodeo, who holds a B.A., M.A., and LL.B. Amodeo grew up in Oshawa, attending St. Gertrude's elementary school and Paul Dwyer High School before studying law at the University of Victoria. After practicing criminal defence in British Columbia, Amodeo returned to the area and has practiced law in Ontario since 2003.

The firm handles criminal and quasi-criminal matters exclusively, covering bail hearings, crown and judicial pre-trials, guilty pleas, sentencing hearings, and trials under the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the Highway Traffic Act, and the Provincial Offences Act. Cases range from driving and drug offences to assault, weapons, property, and sexual offence charges.
