M. G. Michaels & Associates Professional Corporation is a family law firm based in Ajax, Ontario, working out of a flexible workspace building on Pugsley Court in the town's Carruthers Creek Business Area. Marie G. Michaels attended Osgoode Hall Law School, was called to the Ontario bar in February 1997, and founded the firm on March 1, 1997. The practice centres on family law, including decision-making responsibility (what used to be called custody), child and spousal support, property division, and common-law separation, and it also handles real estate closings and wills, estates, and powers of attorney. Two law clerks support the firm's family law, real estate, and estate planning work.

In 2013, Michaels became certified as a Collaborative Team Leader, adding collaborative family law as an option for separating couples who want to negotiate a settlement rather than litigate. Michaels has also argued two appeals at the Ontario Court of Appeal, Stewart v. Crane and Berger v. Berger, and continues to train articling and LPP students and mentor junior family law lawyers. For clients who can't take on a full retainer, the firm offers unbundled services, among them joint consultations, court document preparation, and limited representation for a single court appearance.
