VanBridger Tomassini + Gvozdanovic LLP is a Timmins, Ontario law firm whose practice has centred on criminal defence for years, covering everything from impaired driving and drug charges to sexual assault, theft, fraud, and murder or manslaughter cases. It's grown beyond that core work into civil litigation, provincial and regulatory offences, professional discipline, family law, child protection, and coroner's inquests. The firm's four lawyers took different paths into Northern Ontario criminal law. Managing partner William VanBridger earned a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan and was called to the Ontario bar in 2007. Partner Michael Tomassini, a Queen's University law graduate, began a legal career at a Toronto firm, relocated north in 2013, and worked as a Legal Aid Ontario staff lawyer before joining the firm. Partner Behn Gvozdanovic, born in Timmins and raised in nearby Schumacher, joined the firm in 2017 and earned a Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in 2019. An associate called to the Ontario bar in 2022 rounds out the team.
