About Mallory Law

Mallory Law is a small law firm based in Blenheim, a community within Chatham-Kent, Ontario. The firm's Blenheim office has served the area for more than 50 years, and lawyer Jason Mallory now leads the practice. Mallory holds a Juris Doctor from Western Law and an Honours Business Administration degree from Ivey Business School at Western University, earned on the Dean's Honour List. Before law school, Jason Mallory worked as a marketing manager, and during law school Mallory received the Margaret E. Rintoul Award for the highest standing in estate planning. The practice today centers on farm law, real estate, estate planning and administration, and business law.

The firm grew through two practice successions in Chatham-Kent. In December 2022, Chatham lawyer James Wickett retired after more than 46 years in practice and transferred the practice to Mallory Law, and two long-time staff members joined the team. Mallory Law opened a second office that year on Victoria Avenue in Chatham, and the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce named the firm Business of the Year (Small) in October 2022. In January 2024, Mark MacKew transferred a law practice built over more than 40 years to Mallory Law as well, adding wills, estate planning, business, and real estate clients. The firm's real estate work extends to cottage and recreational properties, including leases at Rondeau Provincial Park.
