About Orazietti Law Professional Corporation

Orazietti Law is a small law practice in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, built around a two-generation family partnership that has practiced from the same Queen Street East address for decades. Don Orazietti was called to the bar in 1970 and spent the early part of that career in the Crown Attorney's office before moving into private practice. The Orazietti and Orazietti Law Firm has been a fixture in the Sault Ste. Marie legal community since the 1980s, and Anthony J. Orazietti joined the practice after being called to the bar in 2017. Together the two now describe more than 50 years of combined experience in the legal field.

The firm concentrates on criminal law, with a particular focus on impaired driving cases, alongside wills, powers of attorney, and estates. Legal Aid Ontario lists Anthony J. Orazietti as accepting Gladue matters, which involve sentencing and bail considerations for Indigenous accused persons. In 2022, Don Orazietti and Anthony Orazietti represented a client before the Supreme Court of Canada in R. v. McColman, a case on when police may stop a vehicle on private property without reasonable grounds. Orazietti Law serves Sault Ste. Marie and the wider Algoma region, from Hornepayne to Sudbury.
