About Yonatan

Yonatan Eshetu is a trial lawyer representing clients facing serious and complex criminal allegations, including homicide, attempted murder, aggravated assault, firearms offences, drug trafficking and sexual assault. He earned his BA (Honours) in Psychology and Sociology, with a minor in Philosophy, from Brock University, focusing on forensic psychology, before completing his Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School, where he led the Criminal Law Division of the Community and Legal Aid Services Program. He has litigated Charter motions involving unlawful search and seizure, arbitrary detention and the validity of search warrants and wiretaps.
