About Walter
Walter Raponi practises criminal defence exclusively, appearing in court on a near-daily basis across multiple levels of court in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. Raponi completed an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo in 1990 and earned a law degree from Dalhousie Law School in Halifax in 1994. Walter was called to the Alberta bar in 1995 and has lived in Edmonton since. Raponi is a member of the Criminal Trial Lawyers Association and a self-described strong supporter of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
