About Valerie
Valerie M. Little has over 30 years of experience practicing family law both in and out of the courtroom. She is a litigator, a certified family law mediator, and a collaborative family lawyer based in New Westminster. Her practice focuses on parenting time and guardianship, child and spousal support, property division, divorce, and adoption, including step-parent, relative, and private adoptions. She also advises on mobility issues, grandparents' rights, prenuptial and cohabitation agreements, and high-net-worth and grey divorce matters. She regularly appears in the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. She is a past chair of the Westminster Family Law Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association and a past elected Canadian Bar Association representative for Westminster County.
