Wills, Estates & TrustsTinashe Mtshiya is the founding lawyer and owner of TCM Law in Edmonton, called to the Alberta Bar in 2011. She practises personal injury, immigration, wills and estates, employment, and commercial litigation matters, along with housing cooperative law, and has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice, the Alberta Court of King's Bench, and the Federal Court of Appeal. She also represents clients in mediation and judicial dispute resolution. Mtshiya holds an LL.B. with distinction from the University of Pretoria and a B.A. with distinction in psychology from Rhodes University, both in South Africa, and completed Canada's NCA law degree equivalency exams in 2008. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, and the Legal Education Society of Alberta. Mtshiya serves as vice chair of the Edmonton Immigrant Services Association, sits on the Africa Centre Black Lawyers Panel, and contributed to the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association's 2018 anthology "Truth Be Told: An Anthology of Inspirational Stories by Women in the Law."
