About Teresa

Teresa Wang is the founder of Hansun Law and a licensed Ontario lawyer practising immigration law, civil litigation, wills and estates, real estate and family law. She graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with a Bachelor of Arts and holds a Juris Master degree from Peking University, followed by an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. Before becoming a lawyer she was licensed in Ontario as a paralegal and held a federal RCIC licence, and she is also an Ontario Notary Public who operates the Hansun Notary Public Center in Toronto. Her background includes two years as a university lecturer, eight years in administration and management at a Germany-based technology company, four years as a deputy director at a legal training company, and time working in the Ministry of the Solicitor General's Civil Litigation Division. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers and the Ontario Bar Association, and speaks English and Mandarin.
