About Susan

Susan Dollar was born and raised in Port Elgin, Ontario, and has roots in Bruce County going back several generations; her late father Robert Dollar practised law in Port Elgin for 40 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from McMaster University in 1983 and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario in 1985, then worked as a business researcher at Royal Bank of Canada and Rothschild Canada Limited before obtaining her LL.B. from Queen's University, where she received awards for Real Property Law and Evidence Law. She articled and worked at a firm in London, Ontario, before returning to Bruce County in 2000 and starting her practice in Southampton, where she has practised for over 20 years focusing on real estate, wills and estates, and corporate and commercial law.
