He began his legal career in Calgary before relocating with his family to Cranbrook in 1990, and has since expanded his practice to the West Kootenays, where he now resides in Rossland. He is an elected representative for the Kootenays with the Canadian Bar Association and a past member of the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC.
