About Danielle
Danielle Daroux has been practising law in British Columbia since 1994, having previously been an associate and then a partner at McEwan Harrison Law Corporation. She practises family law and general litigation and is a highly trained family law mediator and accredited Family Law Arbitrator, also qualified to conduct 'Hear the Child' interviews. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario before completing her law degree at Queen's Law School, where she won a prize for excellence in Advanced Family Law. She has lived and practised law in the Kootenays since 1995, and served on the Mental Health Review Board from 2010 to 2020, chairing review panel hearings in Trail, Nelson, and Cranbrook. She is a past president of the Kootenay Bar Association and a past chair of the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia.
