About Sonia

Beauchamp is an accredited mediator and arbitrator with more than 20 years of experience in civil litigation and particular expertise in construction. She represents and advises general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers on disputes arising during construction projects, including legal hypothecs and workmanship claims, and offers training to industry professionals on contractual best practices to help prevent disputes. When conflicts do arise, she favours mediation and arbitration to resolve them outside the courts, and is involved with the Barreau du Quebec's bar school, including its legal clinic.
