About Shari

Shari L. Boisvert, KC, has practised law since 1993, joining Duane Catterall in Edson after an earlier career as a teacher and counsellor with the Grand Yellowhead School Division and the public and Catholic school divisions in Lethbridge. She practised alongside Catterall for 15 years until his retirement in 2008 and now focuses on real estate, wills and estates, corporate law, and commercial law. Shari practised family law for many years and was an instructor for the Alberta government's Parenting After Separation course, and she was a federal Crown prosecutor with the Public Prosecution Service of Canada for over eight years. She was named a King's Counsel in 2024 and has been active in the Edson community, including as past president of the West Yellowhead Bar Association and as a long-time volunteer with Edson Minor Hockey.
