About Seth

Seth Abbey practises business law with a focus on venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, technology, and intergenerational business transfers, acting as legal counsel to small and medium-sized enterprises. A graduate in law and commerce from McGill University, he guides clients through the full business lifecycle, from shareholder agreements and tax-efficient structuring to financing negotiations and eventual sale of the business. For intergenerational transfers, he takes a proactive approach, helping to establish dialogue and define future roles so that leadership can pass on smoothly. Abbey is also active as a speaker supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs, including through the Young Investors Challenge.
