About Sandra

Sandra Monardo founded Monardo Estate Law in May 2022 after more than 20 years in practice. Since being called to the Ontario bar in 2005, Sandra practised civil and commercial litigation for 12 years before focusing on estate planning and estate litigation at a Toronto estate and trust boutique firm, where she became partner. Sandra completed an undergraduate degree in international relations and languages at the University of Toronto and a law degree at the University of Windsor, and articled as a clerk for the judges of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Sandra now acts as estate trustee and estate trustee during litigation and is regularly sought out as a mediator for estate disputes. Sandra is a board member and director of the Canadian Italian Advocates Organization, a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association Family and Estates Committee, and a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Bar Association.
