About Sandra
Sandra Hakanson is the senior lawyer and principal at Ocana Law, focusing on Canadian immigration and citizenship matters for individuals, families, and businesses. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2005 after articling in Kelowna, and opened Ocana Law in 2008. Hakanson has extensive experience drafting and submitting immigration applications and has appeared before the Immigration Appeal Division and Federal Court. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and a founding member of the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association, and volunteers with Access to Justice presenting immigration workshops at settlement offices throughout British Columbia.
