About Roxanna
Roxanna Sabir is an immigration and family lawyer based in Abbotsford, serving clients throughout the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, and internationally through remote immigration services. Raised in the Fraser Valley, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Geography from the University of the Fraser Valley and an LLB (Honours) in International Human Rights Law from the University of Leicester in 2016, with honours research comparing security and torture laws from the Irish Troubles era to post-9/11 legislation. She was called to the British Columbia bar in January 2020. Her immigration practice focuses on permanent residence applications through Canada's Family Class, including spousal sponsorship for same-sex and LGBTQ+ couples, as well as work permit applications and privately funded refugee protection claims. She also practices family law, assisting clients with desk order divorces, separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, and parenting agreements. She incorporates flat-fee and unbundled legal services to improve access to justice, and also works as a business coach for lawyers transitioning to their own practices.
