About Ronald

Ron Baba's practice focuses on commercial law, including creditor security, corporate law (excluding public corporations), taxation planning and reorganizations, general real estate, and wills and estates. He has represented corporations ranging from small businesses to those with revenues exceeding $70 million, and has acted as lead counsel on structured private equity transactions worth up to $250 million. He presently advises over 400 private corporations, with an emphasis on petroleum production and services, oil transloading, transportation, agriculture, and technology. He has practiced law for over 40 years and has been a King's Counsel since February 2000, and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of Saskatchewan, with a practice that spans both provinces. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Great Distinction, Accounting Major, 1975) and an LL.B. (Distinction, 1976), both from the University of Saskatchewan.
