About Roland

Roland Luo is the founder of Roland Luo, a litigation firm in downtown Vancouver. He is a barrister and solicitor in British Columbia and an attorney and counselor-at-law in New York, first admitted to the New York and Ontario bars in 2005 and to the BC bar in 2010. His practice focuses on commercial and family litigation in private law, and on Canadian and US immigration law in public law, appearing before provincial superior courts, courts of appeal, the Canadian Federal Court, and US Federal District Courts. Since 2015 he has also presided over administrative tribunal hearings. Roland conducts proceedings in French and English, is a native Chinese speaker, and is conversant in Spanish. He volunteers with homeless veterans and organizations such as Soldier On, drawing on his connection to the Canadian Forces veterans' community.
