About Robert

Robert Potvin joined the firm in 2021, continuing a diversified practice that includes the enforcement of security, debt collection, and contractual and extracontractual liability. A significant part of his practice touches employment law, including wrongful dismissal claims and complaints under the Act respecting labour standards. In addition to pleading before courts at all levels, he advises clients strategically to anticipate or avoid litigation and represents them in negotiations and settlements. He is a member of the Barreau du Québec's disciplinary council, was a member of the Montreal Bar's liaison committee with the Court of Quebec's civil chamber in 2006 and 2007, belongs to the Chambre de Commerce du Montréal Métropolitain, and has served for several years on the board of Renaissance Montréal.
