About Robert

Robert Morris is a certified specialist in criminal law with the Law Society of Ontario, and Legal Aid Ontario has approved him to handle extremely serious criminal matters. He was appointed Crown Attorney for Huron County in 1985 and served in that role in Goderich for more than 26 years until his retirement in 2011. He earned an Honours B.A. at Victoria College, University of Toronto, and his LL.B. at the University of Windsor. After law school he articled with Crown Attorney Brian McIntyre in Windsor and then worked as an Assistant Crown Attorney there for six years. He has practised criminal law, including first-degree murder cases and serious Provincial Offences Act matters, over a career spanning more than 40 years as both prosecutor and defence lawyer.
