About Rachel

Rachel Lavallée is a family-law mediator and lawyer based in Gatineau, Quebec, originally from the Outaouais region. She has practised matrimonial law for twenty years and focuses her mediation practice on family disputes, aiming for an amicable, humane resolution process. She teaches a seminar on parenting after separation offered to the public by the Quebec Ministry of Justice and has taught at the École du Barreau du Québec. Beyond mediation, she offers legal consultation, drafting of procedures, negotiation, and court representation. Parents with minor or dependent children may qualify for ministry-funded mediation hours: five hours following a separation, or two and a half hours for the review of another dispute.
