About R.

R. Michael Stunden is the principal of Stunden Law, a boutique business and corporate practice focused on small and medium sized businesses and start-ups. He has practised law since being called to the Alberta bar in 1985 and the British Columbia bar in 1988, working previously at Blakes and Burnet Duckworth & Palmer in Calgary and at Russell & Dumoulin (now Faskens) in Vancouver, as well as in-house at Motorola on software licensing and technology law. Michael's practice spans banking, intellectual property, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, corporate, commercial, securities, and secured lending, with particular experience taking US public companies public through prospectus filings and reverse mergers. He has also personally created, raised money for, operated, and sold a number of businesses in Canada and abroad. Michael earned his BA in Biology from Queen's University and his LLB from the University of Windsor.
