About Poseidon

Poseidon Retsinas is the founding partner of HedgeLegal and has more than 18 years of experience negotiating trading documentation, including ISDA agreements, prime brokerage, futures clearing, repo, and custody agreements. Before founding the firm, Retsinas was responsible for onboarding and negotiating all trading documentation at Innocap, a hedge fund managed account platform with more than $7 billion in assets under management. Retsinas is admitted to the New York Bar and the Quebec Bar and previously worked as an associate at Clifford Chance in London, focusing on derivatives. Retsinas holds a law degree from McGill University and a master's degree in Law and Accounting from the London School of Economics, and has published articles in the Hedge Fund Law Report, Hedgeweek, and HFM Week.
