About Philip

Philip Fourie is a senior lawyer and partner at Oakbridge Law and Mediation in Prince Albert, bringing more than 20 years of legal experience to his practice. A former South African military judge, federal Crown prosecutor, and Governor of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association, he has appeared in numerous constitutional and public-interest cases. He has conducted more than 300 Residential School and Day School hearings and has secured Bill C-92 funding and coordination agreements for First Nations and Metis communities across Canada. His practice focuses on civil litigation, class actions, and Indigenous self-governance. He holds a B.L.C., an LL.B., and an M.Env.Mgmt. with distinction.
