About Peter
Peter A. McSherry was born in Glasgow, Scotland and raised mainly in Kingston, Ontario. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce in 1992 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1995, both from Queen's University in Kingston, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1997. He established his own employment-law practice in Guelph the same year, representing both employees and employers in wrongful and constructive dismissal, severance packages, overtime pay, non-competition clauses, workplace harassment, human rights, and related disputes. He also advises employers on employment agreements, workplace policies, and termination strategy to reduce their risk of litigation.
