About Paul

Paul Charlebois graduated from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law in 1981 and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1982. He has practised criminal and penal law for more than 40 years and is a founding member of CSG Avocats, where he is recognized as one of the leading figures in criminal law in the Outaouais region. His practice covers impaired driving, dangerous driving, hit and run, criminal negligence, homicide, assault, threats, drug offences and fraud, and he regularly appears before the Court of Québec, the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal. He has received the Barreau de Hull's Mérite award, an excellence award from the Association des avocats et avocates de la défense du Québec for his work on impaired-driving cases, and the 2024 Prix Antonio Lamer recognizing his career in law and justice. He is active with several professional associations, including the Association des avocats et avocates de la défense du Québec, the Barreau de l'Outaouais, and the National College for DUI Defense.
