About Patrick

Patrick Gladu has been a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec since 1990. Gladu began practising at the legal aid office in Saint-Hyacinthe, then worked as a partner at a private firm in Saint-Hyacinthe for more than twenty years before founding Gladu Avocat. Gladu has specialized in criminal and penal law and keeps up ongoing training in the field. The practice handles charges including theft and fraud, drug possession and trafficking, threats, assault, impaired and dangerous driving, domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as youth criminal justice matters, mental health law issues such as involuntary committal and treatment authorization, pardon and record suspension applications, and driver's licence demerit-point matters. The office accepts legal aid mandates in some cases and offers payment plans for clients facing financial hardship.
