Criminal DefenceJacinthe Leroux has practised law since being called to the Barreau du Québec in 1987, focusing on family law, civil litigation and family mediation from her office in Vaudreuil-Dorion. She favors alternative dispute resolution, including negotiated settlement and mediation, where the situation allows, while remaining an experienced litigator prepared to go to court when needed. Her family law practice covers cases involving the Directeur de la protection de la jeunesse and matters under the Criminal Code, and her civil practice includes estates, personal injury and latent defects. Jacinthe Leroux previously worked in the legal department of the Directeur de la protection de la jeunesse, at the Directeur des poursuites criminelles et pénales, and as in-house counsel for a commercial enterprise. She is an accredited family mediator and a member of the Association de médiation familiale du Québec and the Association des avocats et avocates en droit familial du Québec. Jacinthe Leroux holds a law degree in both civil law and common law from McGill University.
