About Onyinye

Onyinye N. Chukwunyerenwa is the founder and managing lawyer of Kings Law, an immigration-focused firm in Medicine Hat. She began her legal career in Nigeria, earning a Bachelor of Law from the University of Jos and a Barrister at Law qualification from the Nigerian Law School, before later training as an immigration consultant in Canada and pursuing her Canadian legal qualification through the NCA program. She completed the Alberta Bar Exams (CPLED) and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in June 2021. Her practice has included family law matters such as divorce, child welfare and guardianship, as well as immigration files ranging from spousal sponsorship applications to inadmissibility cases. She also holds a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Liverpool John Moores University and diplomas in criminology and forensic psychology and in immigration consultancy. Onyinye is a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public in Alberta.
