About Nicholas
Nicholas Frid is a lawyer and mediator who provides family law representation and mediation services at Frid Family Law Group, the Ottawa firm he founded. He began his career at a full-service firm in Oshawa, Ontario, practising primarily as a Federal Crown Agent for the Public Prosecutor of Canada while also building a family law practice as private and legal aid counsel. In 2021 he moved to Ottawa to complete his mediation training and accreditation with Barbara Cohen. Frid is an active member of the Ottawa branch of the Ontario Association of Family Mediators and a committee member for the Carleton County Law Association's Annual Institute of Family Law.
