About Nicholas

Nicholas Bader advises investors, family-owned businesses in their early and late stages, and subsidiaries of multinational companies. Beyond strategic transactional advice, he offers general counsel services covering day-to-day operations, contract negotiation and review, dispute resolution, and HR guidance, aiming to give business-practical advice given how closely operational risk and reward are linked. His work has included representing venture-funded startups from their angel rounds through to acquisition, advising private and public companies operating across North America and the Asia-Pacific region, and counseling several licensed cannabis retailers in Ontario. He sits on the Peel-Halton chapter of Lawyers Feed the Hungry and previously served on the board of the national charity AboutFace.
