Nabila Mahamat, originally from Chad and raised in Moncton, earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the Université de Moncton in 2021, then completed a combined Juris Doctor and Master of Public Administration program in 2025. She completed her articling with Actus Law Droit and was called to the New Brunswick Bar in June 2026. She focuses her practice on family law, and in 2025 received the Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella award from the Royal Society of Canada, recognizing law graduates likely to advance equity and social justice.
